Eashen the elephant
Barkley the dog
Barkley is a lovable, faithful friend. He has terrific ball skills because he's been practising since he was young puppy.
Who's the king?
The lion is said to be the king of the jungle. But most lions live on wide open grasslands in Africa. There is one small group of Asian lions and they live in a forest in India. People believe that the lion was called the king of the jungle because 'jungle' in Hindi means open land with no people.
Elephants are the largest animals on land. So maybe the elephant should be called the animal king.

The African elephant is slightly larger than the Asian elephant. African elephant also have bigger ears.
All African elephants grow tusks. Not all Asian elephants grow tusks; usually just the males get them. Tusks are really large teeth. Elephants use their tusks to dig for food and water. Also, males use their tusks when they have to fight.

An elephant's trunk is actually a long nose used for smelling, breathing, trumpeting, drinking, and also for grabbing things—especially a potential meal.
Splashy the elephant
He's cleaning up in the car-washing business!
Splashy vs Friendly
Friendly vs Malicious Monkey
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph has a very shiny nose. His transparent red stud nose looks as if it glows. He can use his tan antlers to hit thieves who are trying to steal presents from Santa's sleigh.
Po Po the giant panda
A giant panda is a type of bear. Pandas are similar to other bears in how they look and the way they walk and climb. They seem pretty quiet, but giant pandas can roar and growl.
Bamboo is the most important plant in a giant panda's diet. They spend at least 12 hours each day eating bamboo. Pandas grasp bamboo stalks with their five fingers and a special wristbone. They use their teeth to peel off the tough outer layers of the stalk to reveal the soft inner tissue. They also eat the leaves.

How Po Po's head is joined to her body
There is a white plate with a stud in the middle. This can hold the head onto the body in two ways. You can press the stud into the hole at the back of the head, or you can press the underside of the head onto the stud. Instead of a plate with a stud, you can use a plate with a vertical pin. In the second picture below you can see a black pin plate. This can only fix the head on by slotting into the hole. So the white plate with a stud is better - it is more versatile. However, the black plate with vertical pin is better for slotting into the hole. This allows you to spin the panda's head around really fast!
To join the panda's head to the body in a way that looks correct, the hole at the back of the panda's head needs to be in the middle of the row of bricks. As the row is five studs wide, the hole needs to be on the third stud. The best solution is to use 1x1 brick with a hole on the third stud.

Improvising
Uncle Andrew decided to practise how to improvise when you don't have a 1x1 brick with a hole. He used a 1x2 brick with a hole instead. If you just used a 1x2 brick, the hole would not be in the middle of the row. So to put the hole in the middle, he used a 1x2 tile piece with a stud and a smooth tile on the row below - see the third picture. The stud on a 1x2 tile piece is between where studs are on normal bricks. Now the 1x2 brick with the hole could be placed on the tile piece with a stud, and - voila! - the hole was in the right place.
Special Lego name
Lego calls the special plate with a pin ontop "plate with vertical snap". We usually say snap to mean something has broken. Here Lego uses "snap" because when one object "snaps" into another object, it means they are pressed together and make a sound when they join together.

Super Turtle - Mark II
This is the second version of Super Turtle. Now he can move his head up and down, and he can turn all his flippers around in a circle (360 degrees). Each flipper is now joined to his body by a spanner that slots into the hole in a headlight brick. As his flippers are more movable, he is more able to catch Malicious Monkey!
Super Turtle
Malicious Monkey
Malicious Monkey has a rocketship to help him cause havoc. In an emergency he can escape through a hatch in the cockpit's floor.
Malicious Monkey vs Super Turtle
MM has used his evil genius to create a jetpack and a rocket. He uses them to escape from Super Turtle with £100 he has stolen from an innocent victim. How can Super Turtle combat this dastardly foe?
Malicious Monkey has stolen a jet plane while the pilot was asleep. MM adds on some flame throwers and calls the plane Fire Thrower.
Super Tortoise
Super Tortoise is Super Turtle's sidekick. His shell's red and white corners show his warrior's colours. Watch out Malicious Monkey!
Shaun the sheep, Timmy and friends
Shaun is clever and creative. He's also friendly to the other sheep. Shaun loves to be adventurous. His adventures can get the rest of the flock into trouble, but Shaun gets them out of trouble too.
Timmy the lamb also gets into trouble. However, he learns from his mistakes, and tries to help others when he can.
The little lambs like to gambol and jump over fences. Shirley is large - so large she can give a little lamb a ride on her back.

Dog 2
Penguin
Jeremy Fisher
Jeremy the frog likes to relax on a lily pad that's floating on the water. Jeremy is different from other frogs because he likes to lie on his back to feel the sun on his tummy.
All frogs are good swimmers. A frog is an amphibian. Amphibians can live both on land and in water.
Nemo the clownfish
Nemo the clownfish likes to waggle his tail. Nemo is a boy. We can call him a male. All clownfish are born male. But they are able to transform into females. The change is irreversible.
Female clownfish can lay 600 to 1,500 eggs. Unlike most animals, the male clownfish usually look after the eggs. A baby clownfish needs only 10 days before he hatches from his egg.
